Taj Lands’ End hotel in Mumbai organised one of the largest Christmas Carnival of Mumbai. The carnival began with an opening parade from Mount Mary Church Bandra and moved till Historic Bandra Fort adjoining to the hotel. The Christmas Carnival was a vibrant and festive celebration filled with holiday cheer. The event featured a variety of exciting activities that brought joy to attendees of all ages.
Santa Claus made a special appearance, spreading festive cheer by handing out goodies to guests. The event featured talented carol singers, a lively drum performance, and captivating dance routines by senior female dancers in white fairy attire, adding energy and grace to the celebrations.
Somnath Mukherjee, Senior Vice President of Operations, IHCL, played a key role in the success of the event, contributing to its gracious execution. The event was also attended by several General Managers from Mumbai’s Taj Hotels. It included Moncrief Aviet, GM of Taj Lands’ End; Afzal Khan, GM of Taj President; Vikas Parimoo, GM of Taj Santacruz; Vivek Sharma, GM Taj The Trees; Aveek Sengupta, Cluster GM Taj Vivanta Navi Mumbai; Ritesh Kasture, GM of Ginger Mumbai Airport; and Melvyn Saldanha.
The event was further elevated by the attendance of the Heads of Departments (HODs) from Taj Lands’ End, whose dedication and hard work contributed significantly to its success. The HODs present included Reetika Kanwar, Director of Operations; Rohit Sangwan, Area Culinary Head; Reju Siddharthan, F&B Director; Ashtad Wadia, Area Director of Sales & Marketing; Shavir Bacha, Director of Sales & Marketing; Nilesh Sawant, Director of Security; Marissa Pinto, PR Manager; Shilpa, Executive Housekeeper; and Sakshi Chari, Front Office Manager.
To top it all off, a festive rally was organized, where guests could join in the celebration, spreading the Christmas joy throughout the hotel. The Christmas Carnival was a memorable event that perfectly captured the spirit of the season, with fun, music, dance, and a sense of togetherness.
