Prem Rawat Breaks J.K. Rowling’s Book Reading Record with 133,234 Attendees in India

 Prem Rawat, New York Times bestselling author, on March 2, 2025, broke the Guinness World Record for the largest audience at a multiple-author book reading, drawing 133,234 attendees in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India. This shattered the previous record of 20,264, set by J.K. Rowling in 2000.

Rawat read excerpts from his latest book, Breath: Wake Up to Life, while Indian author Vipul Rikhi read from Drunk on Love. The event, organized by Raj Vidya Kender, marks Rawat’s third Guinness World Record, following previous records in 2023 for the largest single-author book reading and the largest lecture audience.
