Shankar Shambhu Memorial Awards 2025: A Night of Musical Tribute and Legacy

Mumbai’s Shri Shankar Shambhu Memorial Awards 2025, hosted by Blessing Entertainment & BCCA, celebrated music, legacy, and excellence at Sardar Patel Sabhagriha Bhavans College, Andheri. The event paid tribute to the legendary Sufi singer duo Shri Shankar Shambhu Ji, whose contributions to Indian classical and Sufi music continue to inspire.

The evening was marked by the felicitation of Padmashri Sonu Nigam, recognizing his extraordinary impact on Indian music. The event was graced by music icons like Shri Agam Nigam, Shri Manoj Muntashir, Padmashri Jaspinder Narula, and featured a captivating performance by Padmashri Ahmed Hussain & Mohammed Hussain.

Other performances included Ram Shankar, Rakesh Pandit, Pradeep Pandit, Raja Pandit, Aditya Shankar, Sneha Shankar, Sumeet Tappoo, and many more, adding to the grandeur of the event. Special guests, including Shri Yogesh Lakhani, Shri Ajay Sahaab, Shri Sanjay Mahale, and others, also attended to celebrate the spirit of Indian music.

Managed by Aditya Shankar, the awards ceremony was a grand success, leaving an indelible mark with its soulful tributes and performances.

Ram Shankar remarked, “This award is a tribute to my father’s enduring legacy. Through this platform, we strive to keep his musical heritage alive and inspire future generations.”

Sonu Nigam shared, “I am truly humbled to receive the Shri Shankar Shambhu Memorial Award 2025. My heartfelt thanks to Ram Shankar Ji for this incredible honor.”
