This extraordinary event, curated by renowned culinary expert Chef Bimba Nayak, will showcase the rich and rare heritage of Pathare Prabhu cuisine. Known for its bold flavours, unique combinations, and quick cooking techniques, Pathare Prabhu cuisine traces its origins to one of Mumbai’s oldest communities, blending coastal Maharashtrian, Gujarati, and Kathiawari influences.
The festival will feature a curated menu of both seafood and vegetarian delicacies that are as traditional as they are innovative. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a diverse array of dishes, such as Chutneycha Saranga, Bombil Cutlets, Bharleli Chimbori, and Tajlatyle Mutton Sukhe, alongside vegetarian specialties like Pineapple Sambhare, Vangi Panchamrut Hi, and Dudhi Batata Gode.
Chef Bimba Nayak, a pioneer in reviving this 700-year-old cuisine, brings over 52 years of experience and passion for preserving the culinary traditions of Mumbai’s indigenous communities. “I am thrilled to showcase the flavours of my community to the guests at Courtyard by Marriott Navi Mumbai,” said Chef Nayak.
