With over 23 years of professional experience, she is a powerful advocate for gender equality and diversity, especially in traditionally male-dominated industries like logistics. Her journey stands as a testament to her resilience, leadership, and commitment to creating more inclusive and equitable workplace environments.

Education and Professional Background

Indrani holds an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, an MBA in Human Resources and Information Systems, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) from the prestigious XLRI, Jamshedpur. Her diverse academic background, paired with her professional development, has enabled her to lead HR functions for large global organizations effectively. She has also earned a professional degree in television news reading and media anchoring, highlighting her versatile skill set.

Indrani’s career began in the corporate world, where she worked with major organizations, including Pepsico International, Vodafone India, and PricewaterhouseCoopers SDC. Prior to her current role at Allcargo Group, she was the Chief People Officer and Director of Human Capital at PwC SDC. In her role at Allcargo Group, a company with a global presence in 180 countries and 300 offices worldwide, she oversees HR strategies, talent development, and organizational growth.

Indrani has been at the forefront of championing gender diversity in the workplace. As a leader in the logistics industry, where women have historically been underrepresented, she has spearheaded initiatives to foster gender inclusion and provide equal opportunities for all. Additionally, she serves as a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Advisor to various organizations, further highlighting her commitment to fostering safe and inclusive workplaces.

She is also a TEDx speaker and an advocate for empowering women professionals in all sectors, including logistics, where she has worked tirelessly to dismantle outdated perceptions and create space for women to take on leadership roles.
