The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake and Lakeside Chalet, Mumbai – Marriott Executive Apartments announced the appointment of Sudeep Sharma as Cluster General Manager. With over a decade of experience at Marriott International, Sudeep brings a wealth of leadership expertise and a passion for enhancing guest experiences.
A graduate of IHM, Sudeep will now lead the operations at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, one of Mumbai’s largest convention hotels, and Lakeside Chalet – Marriott Executive Apartments, the city’s premier long-stay destination. In this role, he aims to foster innovation, enhance guest experiences, and prioritize well-being, all while aligning with the brand values of Westin Hotels & Resorts and Marriott Executive Apartments.
Sudeep’s career began in F&B at The Le Meridien, New Delhi, before he moved to leadership positions at The Claridges and Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi. He joined Marriott International at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, progressing through roles at Jaipur Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad, Fairfield by Marriott Lucknow, and Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre. Most recently, he was General Manager at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, where he led significant growth in both guest experience and revenue.
Throughout his career, Sudeep has earned multiple accolades, including the FHRAI General Manager of the Year and Global Diamond General Manager for Fairfield by Marriott. He has also been named APAC F&B Leader of the Year and APAC Restaurateur of the Year.
Sudeep shared his excitement about his new role, stating, “My goal is to create an environment where guests feel inspired and rejuvenated while ensuring our associates thrive in a culture of excellence.”
Known for his warm leadership style and commitment to mentorship, Sudeep is well-respected among colleagues and industry peers. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, family travel, and staying ahead of hospitality trends.
