JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the elevation of Vallabhi Vaidya to the position of Director of Human Resources, reinforcing the brand’s deep-rooted commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture built on excellence and empathy.
In her new role, Vallabhi will spearhead talent development, organizational planning, and HR operations across all verticals at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. Her goal remains to uphold the brand’s promise of thoughtful luxury—not only for guests, but also for the associates who form the backbone of the hotel’s service excellence.
Vallabhi, who has been part of the Marriott International family since 2010, brings over 17 years of rich and diverse experience in the hospitality sector. Her journey across various departments including operations, front office, guest relations, and human resources equips her with a holistic understanding of hotel dynamics and a strong foundation in people management.
Throughout her career, Vallabhi has led from the front—driving initiatives that enhance associate engagement, improve workplace culture, and align HR practices with Marriott’s global philosophy of putting people first. Her leadership has been pivotal in shaping a work environment that champions continuous development, inclusivity, and a strong sense of belonging.

Vallabhi completed her early education at Sathaye College in Vile Parle, Mumbai, before pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and Management from the Institute of Hotel Management. Her strong academic foundation has played a key role in shaping her successful journey in the hospitality industry.
Vallabh’s promotion as Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar marks both a personal milestone and a reflection of Marriott’s dedication to nurturing and elevating internal talent. Her hospitality journey began with Hyatt Hotels Corporation as a Corporate Leadership Trainee, where she built a strong foundation in guest engagement and operations. She further enhanced her leadership skills with roles at Hyatt in Goa and Hyderabad, followed by stints at Shangri-La Hotels in Bengaluru and Taj Hotels. After joining Marriott International, she transitioned to JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, where she steadily rose from Human Resources and Training Manager to Assistant Director, and now Director of HR. Vallabhi’s diverse experience across top hotel brands has shaped her into a people-first leader known for driving service excellence and cultural strength.
