Born into a family with no ties to the hospitality industry, he became the first to pursue a career that would eventually redefine his family’s notion of possibility.
Encouraged by a friend to explore hotels, Jasvir joined the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Hyderabad, laying the foundation for a remarkable journey defined by passion, perseverance, and purpose. From his early days at Park Hyatt Goa to leadership roles across renowned brands such as Hyatt, Marriott, and Accor, he honed his craft while elevating guest experiences and operational excellence. His career spans landmark properties including Hyatt Regency Delhi, Le Méridien Jaipur, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka, and The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, each adding depth to his management expertise.
Today, as Director of Operations at Sofitel Mumbai BKC, Jasvir leads with precision and empathy, guiding one of Mumbai’s premier luxury hotels to new heights. Under his leadership, Sofitel Mumbai became India’s first Green Key Certified hotel and the first in the country to adopt Winnow AI technology to reduce food waste — reflecting his commitment to sustainability and innovation. Beyond operational achievements, he has cultivated a people-first culture, strengthening diversity, elevating employee engagement, and driving record profitability and growth that set new benchmarks for the Sofitel brand in India.
