Ummrao Saaj will mark Valentine’s weekend with a curated Modern Indian dining experience from February 13 to 15, inviting couples to celebrate the occasion in an intimate and relaxed setting. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary flute of sparkling wine, setting the tone for an evening focused on connection, conversation and thoughtfully crafted flavours. The specially designed set menu encourages diners to slow down and savour each course.
The meal opens with contemporary small bites such as crisp rice biscuits garnished with mango pickle and tempered lentil morsels topped with caramelised onions. A light aromatic broth follows, gently preparing the palate for the courses ahead. The experience then moves to sharing plates including tender cottage cheese with pine nuts and subtly pickled salmon tikka, presented with refined plating and delicate garnishes that enhance both flavour and visual appeal.
For the main course, guests can choose from slow-cooked lentils and spiced pulled lamb prepared with depth and warmth. Vegetarian highlights include pumpkin layered with cottage cheese and charred aubergine paired with tangy tomatoes. Garlic-buttered sourdough bread accompanies the dishes, adding texture and balance to the spread.
Dessert brings the evening to a comforting close with milk bread soaked in cardamom cream and a refreshing frozen milk preparation with basil seeds. Couples may further personalise their celebration with optional additions such as wine or prosecco pairings, a premium dessert platter, enhanced candle décor or a rose bouquet.
The experience will be available for dinner only on February 13, 14 and 15. The non-alcoholic set menu is priced at ₹2,500 plus taxes per person, while the alcoholic set menu is priced at ₹3,500 plus taxes per person.
