A Customized ‘My Stamp’ commemorating Mumbai Climate Week was released by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, at a special ceremony held at the Jio Convention Centre, Bandra.
The commemorative stamp symbolizes Maharashtra’s strong commitment to climate action, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. The release marked a key highlight of Mumbai Climate Week, an initiative aimed at fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovative solutions to address climate challenges in urban and regional contexts.
The event was graced by Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Government of India; Smt Pankaja Munde, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Government of Maharashtra; Shri Amitabh Singh, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle; and Smt Ritu Tawade, Mayor of BMC.
Senior officials present included Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra; Shri Bhushan Gagrani, Municipal Commissioner, BMC; Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA; Smt Jayshree Bhoj, Secretary, Environment Department; and Shri Shishir Joshi, CEO & Founder, Project Mumbai and Chief Convenor of Mumbai Climate Week.
The customized ‘My Stamp’ serves as a lasting tribute to Mumbai’s climate leadership and reinforces the government’s resolve to promote renewable energy, green infrastructure, and citizen-driven sustainability initiatives. The ceremony witnessed participation from policymakers, environmental experts, civic administrators, and representatives from various sectors, reflecting a unified commitment toward building a climate-resilient Maharashtra.
