World Leaders to Converge in New Delhi for India–AI Impact Summit 2026

New Delhi will host a major congregation of global leadership as India organises the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 from February 16 to 20. Anchored in the three guiding sutras of People, Planet and Progress, the summit reflects India’s vision of fostering inclusive, sustainable and responsible global cooperation in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

  Convened at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit will bring together heads of state and government, policymakers, innovators and leading experts from across the world to deliberate on the future trajectory of AI governance, innovation and its societal impact. The discussions are expected to focus on leveraging AI for public good, climate action, economic growth and equitable development.

  A strong line-up of international leaders is scheduled to attend the summit. These include Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Bolivia Vice President Edmand Lara Montano, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Estonian President Alar Karis, Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and French President Emmanuel Macron.

  The gathering will also see the participation of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Guyana Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein, Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Serbia President Aleksandar Vučić, Slovakia President Peter Pellegrini, Spain President Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Disanayaka, Seychelles Vice President Sebastien Pillay, Switzerland President Guy Parmelin, Netherlands Prime Minister Dick Schoof and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

  In addition, ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries will participate in the summit. The Secretary-General of the United Nations and senior officials from several international organisations are also expected to join the deliberations, highlighting the global importance of the event.

  With its emphasis on collaboration, inclusivity and responsible innovation, the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 is expected to position India as a key convenor in shaping the global discourse on artificial intelligence.
