New Zealand is set to showcase its expanding technology ecosystem at the 33rd Converge India Expo 2026 in New Delhi next week. The country will focus on its strengths in software innovation, fintech solutions, digital enterprise technologies, as well as emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable technology solutions.
Globally known for its natural beauty and agricultural exports, New Zealand has also emerged as a fast-growing technology hub. Technology is now the country’s third-largest export sector, covering digital services, information and communication technology, high-tech manufacturing, biotechnology, and cutting-edge research in green and clean technologies. This growth reflects New Zealand’s commitment to innovation-driven economic development.
His Excellency Graham Rouse, New Zealand Trade Commissioner and Consul General for India and South Asia, said in a LinkedIn post that the country’s participation at the expo will underline its expanding capabilities in advanced technology solutions. “At the upcoming expo, our New Zealand Pavilion will bring together a strong delegation of technology companies offering solutions designed to support digital transformation, enterprise innovation and sustainable technology development,” he said.
He added that these focus areas align closely with India’s rapidly growing digital economy, the increasing adoption of smart infrastructure, and the rising demand for secure enterprise systems and scalable digital infrastructure. The expo will also provide a platform for Indian and New Zealand companies to explore partnerships, share expertise, and co-develop solutions tailored to the needs of the Indian market.
The Converge India Expo 2026, a leading technology and innovation platform, is expected to host hundreds of exhibitors, investors, and business leaders from across the globe. New Zealand’s participation reflects its strategic focus on building strong international collaborations and positioning itself as a global technology partner for India.
