The Governor of Maharashtra Jishnu Dev Varma hosted a tea reception in honour of C. P. Radhakrishnan during the latter’s two-day visit to Maharashtra. The event was held at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai.
The reception witnessed the presence of several prominent dignitaries from political, administrative and cultural spheres. Among those attending were Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, social activist Amruta Fadnavis, and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Rahul Narwekar.
Also present were Environment Minister Pankaja Munde and Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha. Senior bureaucrats including Additional Chief Secretary Manisha Verma and Director General of Police Sadanand Date were also in attendance.
Adding to the occasion’s prominence, noted actress Bhumi Pednekar and several distinguished guests from various fields participated in the gathering. The reception provided an opportunity for leaders and dignitaries to interact with the Vice President and discuss matters of mutual interest, reflecting the significance of his visit to the state.
