Mumbai: The Mumbai Police have appealed to citizens to help identify an unclaimed deceased person whose body is currently in police custody.
According to the police notice, the deceased has been identified as Mr. Ismail Javed Pathan, approximately 75 years old. He had a fair complexion, a slim build, stood around 5 feet 2 inches tall, had black-and-white hair, a salt-and-pepper beard, and black eyes.
The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Oshiwara Police Station. Authorities have requested that if any relatives, friends, or acquaintances recognize the deceased or have information about his family, they should immediately contact the concerned police station or the Missing Persons Bureau.
The investigation is being handled by Police Constable Totare, who can be contacted at 9152173486 for any information related to the deceased.
Mumbai Police have urged the public to come forward so that the deceased can be identified and handed over to his rightful family, ensuring a dignified final farewell.

मुंबई : ओशिवरा पोलिसांनी एका बेवारस मृत व्यक्तीची ओळख पटविण्यासाठी नागरिकांना पुढे येण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे.
पोलिसांनी प्रसिद्ध केलेल्या माहितीनुसार, मृत व्यक्तीचे नाव श्री इस्माईल जावेद पठाण असून त्यांचे अंदाजे वय ७५ वर्षे आहे. त्यांचा गोरा वर्ण, सडपातळ बांधा, उंची अंदाजे ५ फूट २ इंच, काळे-पांढरे केस, पांढरी-काळी दाढी आणि काळे डोळे अशी ओळख सांगण्यात आली आहे.
ही बाब ओशिवरा पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीतील असून, संबंधित व्यक्तीच्या नातेवाईकांनी किंवा त्यांना ओळखणाऱ्या नागरिकांनी तातडीने संबंधित पोलीस ठाणे अथवा मिसिंग पर्सन्स ब्युरो, लोहमार्ग, मुंबई यांच्याशी संपर्क साधावा, असे आवाहन करण्यात आले आहे.
या प्रकरणाचा तपास पोलीस शिपाई तोतरे करत असून, अधिक माहितीसाठी ९१५२१७३४८६ या क्रमांकावर संपर्क साधण्याचे आवाहन करण्यात आले आहे.
बेवारस मृत व्यक्तीची ओळख पटवून त्यांच्या नातेवाईकांपर्यंत माहिती पोहोचावी आणि त्यांच्यावर सन्मानपूर्वक अंत्यसंस्कार करता यावेत, यासाठी नागरिकांनी सहकार्य करावे, असे आवाहन मुंबई पोलिसांनी केले आहे.
