She completed her secondary education from Bai B S Bengalee Girls High school in Mumbai and Graduation from prestigious Jai Hind College, Churchgate. Aspiring and dreaming to be a part of Taj Mahal hotel from tenth standard, she pursued Post Graduation in Hotel Management at Rizvi College of Hotel Management. This educational background laid the groundwork for her beaming career, providing her with the essential knowledge and skills required in the industry.
Mahtaab joined Taj Hotels in 2006, and from the outset, her dedication and passion for her work were evident. Over the years, she has held various key positions that reflect her commitment to her craft.
Mahtaab’s early years at Taj Hotels saw her mastering the art of catering sales. Her role involved forging strong relationships with clients and ensuring seamless event experiences. Her skills in this area undoubtedly contributed to the success of the organization. She also received the best hotelier award in 2017 as Best Director of Catering Sales.
Recognizing her exceptional abilities, Mahtaab was promoted to the position of Director of Catering Sales. In this role, she not only continued to excel in managing catering services but also assumed a leadership role, guiding her team to achieve new heights in client satisfaction.
Mahtaab’s journey at Taj Hotels included a brief but crucial stint as the Director of Rooms on Orientation. This position showcased her versatility and willingness to take on new challenges within the industry.
