Gaurav Singh, a highly accomplished hotelier with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having managed and led some of the world’s most renowned hotel brands, has joined Chalet Hotels Limited as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 15, 2025.
With his deep expertise in hospitality operations and leadership, Gaurav is well-equipped to drive the company’s strategic initiatives and contribute to its continued success. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing asset management, driving operational excellence, and ensuring operational efficiency across the company’s portfolio. His focus will be on optimizing processes and systems to enhance overall performance and profitability, while also implementing scalable solutions that support sustainable growth.
Chalet Hotels, with its well-established portfolio and a promising pipeline of future developments, is poised for significant expansion. Gaurav’s leadership will be instrumental in executing the company’s growth strategy, improving business performance, and further strengthening its position in the hospitality industry. With his extensive experience and vision, he will help shape Chalet Hotels’ journey towards becoming a leading player in the hotel sector.

Educational Achievements
Gaurav Singh began his education at prestigious Mayo College in Ajmer before pursuing a Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) at the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration in Manipal. He further enhanced his expertise with a Management Trainee program in Hospitality at the Welcomgroup Management Institute in Gurgaon.
Professional Trajectory
Gaurav Singh began his career at ITC Hotels, specializing in Food and Beverage operations, before joining The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra, and later The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur, as EAM of Food and Beverage. He then advanced to leadership roles, becoming Resident Manager at The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts, and later Multi-Property Vice President & GM at JW Marriott Kolkata, overseeing multiple properties. Gaurav was appointed Multi-Property GM for Bengaluru, followed by Market Vice President for South & East India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka at Marriott International, managing nearly 50 hotels across the region. Before joining Chalet Hotels Limited, he briefly served as President at Table Space.
