The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Anoop Pandey as the Vice President and General Manager of The Leela Palace Jaipur. With over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Pandey brings a deep understanding of refined guest experiences and operational excellence. In his new role, he will be responsible for steering the hotel’s strategic direction, strengthening its presence in global markets, and further enhancing The Leela’s reputation for delivering Indian luxury with a global touch.
Pandey began his career with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, serving at properties in Mumbai, Kovalam, and Bangalore. He held various leadership roles at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, St. Regis Mumbai, The Westin Gurgaon and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa.
An alumnus of the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal, Pandey has held key leadership roles with globally reputed hospitality brands. Most recently, he served as General Manager at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort and Spa, where he successfully repositioned the property with wellness-led initiatives, reimagined dining concepts, and digital-driven guest engagement.
Known for his people-centric leadership style, Pandey is recognised for nurturing high-performing teams and mentoring emerging talent in the industry. His expertise in launching marquee properties and managing complex operations adds depth to The Leela’s leadership bench. His vision aligns closely with “Aujasya by The Leela”, the brand’s signature wellness programme that aims to offer holistic and enriching guest experiences.
