Forgetting the dark memories of pandemic and beginning of a new festivity spirit, Radisson Mumbai hotel organized a traditional Christmas cake mixing ceremony recently. The traditional festive ceremony is organised at the hotel’s luxurious Gallery Café restaurant. The hotel saw special invitees, food bloggers, management and staff members to be a part of the event. To make event more successful and attractive, Mehtatab Siddqui – Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ravi Ramchandran Cluster General Manager West India, Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia & GM Radisson Hotel Mumbai Andheri and Executive Chef Vasant Khot were part of the prestigious event.

The special guests donned in their aprons, gloves and chef caps rolled up their sleeves to blend up the dry fruits, non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices and other ingredients for a tasty Christmas cake. The guests and all attendees were later treated with special exclusive delicacies at the hotel.

It may be noted that Radisson Mumbai Andheri hotel is a non-alcoholic hotel and doesn’t serve alcohol in their premises. The hotel is popular for their classic delicacies, superb service and wonderful special rooms.

Mehtatab Siddqui, COO announced the beginning of this year’s Christmas preparations. Speaking on the occasion he said “We are happy to say that we are lone and only hotel in Mumbai that is non-alcoholic. We are proud that without alcohol also, we are in the process of making classic Christmas cakes. Our team of chefs is known for creating classic Christmas cake which is on par with any global brands”.

Vasant Khot, Executive Chef of the hotel said “Christmas cake mixing ceremony is a traditional ritual held at every hotel globally. As a tradition, we are making non-alcoholic Christmas cake but it would give perfect taste. In India many guests don’t eat cakes that contain eggs and alcohol, so cake from Radisson Mumbai Andheri would be a boon for them. This is our second year of hotel operation, last year’s Christmas cakes were very popular and were well appreciated amongst Mumbaikar’s. I am sure this year too; we will get positive response and appreciation from guests”
