Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshiyari felicitated Covid Crusaders from India and the United States of America virtually. The felicitation of selected philanthropic persons and organizations was organized by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday September 25th, 2020.
Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group the recipient of two of the highest civilian awards of India, the Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion. Other prominent person who were felicitated includes Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai Iqbal Singh Chahal, Michelin Star Chef Vikas Khanna, Mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner, , Sonny Kakar of Sevatec Inc, Asif Dakri of Wallis Bank and Amol Biniwale of Perennials and Sutherland LLC were honoured for their exceptional service to humanity during the Covid pandemic. Godrej group of companies and Mahindra & Mahindra group of companies were also felicitated.
