“Vigilance Awareness Week” is being observed from 31 October 2022 to 06 December 2022across the country. Central Vigilance Commission(CVC), New Delhi has instructed all government departments and public sector organizations to create awareness campaigns.
Central GST Commissionerate, Thane has organized various activities during the week. The officers and staff enthusiastically participated in a Walkathon around Masunda Lake, Talao Pali, Thane city. The walkathon was led by the Commissioner Shri Rajan Chaudhary.
During the Walkathon the officers exhibited banners and placards with slogans to fight against Corruption in India. Pamphlets were also distributed to highlight the relevance of integrity and transparency in daily life. The general public at large were sensitized on the issue of fighting against corruption and standing up for their rights.
