Maha Gov unveil foundation stone of Hostel building for HIV positive children

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari unveiled the foundation stone of the first floor of a Hostel building for HIV positive children of an organisation ‘Sevalaya’ at a function held at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Hostel building is part of the project Happy Indian Village (HIV) being created by social worker Ravi Baputle at village Ausa in Latur district.

Playback singer and founder of Suryodaya Foundation Anuradha Paudwal, Trustees of Empathy Foundation Ramesh Damani and Pravin Chheda and Ravi Baputle were present. The Hostel floor has been constructed with financial assistance from Suryodaya Foundation and Empathy Foundation.

In a unique gesture, The Governor of Maharashtra announced a donation of Rs.10 lakh to ‘Sevalaya’. This donation will help sevalaya to take their services unhindered in social causes.
