According to the latest data provided by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), Star Plus’ popular show Anupamaa continues to top the TRP chart this week as well.
Starring Rupali Ganguly in a titular role, the show has maintained its position for almost four months now. The daily soap speaks of women empowerment and also stars Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma in key roles.
Imlie, too, has managed to maintain its place on the list, and just like the past few weeks, has bagged the second spot this time as well. The story revolves around a village belle who is forced to marry a journalist only to later find out that he already has a fiancé in the city.
Starring Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has ended up third on the list. The chemistry between the lead pair and the high-octane drama on the show has become the latest talk of the town.
Kundali Bhagya, which had slipped to the fifth spot last week, has climbed back to fourth place. The once-popular daily soap has been struggling to hold its place ever since shoots resumed post lockdown.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has been going in and out of the TRP chart recently, scooped the fifth spot this week.
Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Televisions’ Indian Idol, which was placed fourth last week, has been kicked out of the race this week.
