Maharashtra reported 14,317 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. The tally has now climbed to 22,66,374.
Also, 57 people succumbed to the infection, taking the death toll due to 52,667.
The number of active cases is now pitched at 1,06,070 as per the latest information shared by the state health department.
With 1,508 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday, the case tally of Mumbai climbed to 3,38,631.
According to the latest data provided by BMC, four persons lost their lives to the virus in the past 24 hours.
The death toll due to COVID-19 in Mumbai now stands at 11,515.
As many as 911 patients were discharged on Thursday taking the total number of recoveries to 3,14,257.
At present, there are 11,969 active cases in the city.
