On the occasion of Alia Bhatt’s birthday on March 15, the makers of her much-awaited film RRR unveiled her first-look from the magnum-opus.
Director SS Rajamouli shared the picture on his official social media account and wrote, “Strong-willed and resolvent Sita’s wait for Ramaraju will be legendary.”
In RRR, Bhatt has been paired opposite Telugu superstar Ram Charan. Sharing the poster, Charan wrote, “She adds meaning to Ramaraju’s mission! Meet my Sita, a woman of strong will and resolve.”
In her first-look poster, Bhatt can be seen dressed in a green saree with her hair tied. She can also be seen adorning a red bindi on her forehead.
On Sunday, the actress gave a glimpse of her character as she had shared a silhouette poster where she can be sitting against the idol of Lord Rama.
RRR is one of the costliest films ever produced in Indian cinema. In addition to Alia Bhatt and Ram Charan, the film also stars Jr NTR and Ajay Devgn.
The period drama, set in the 20th century, will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on October 13, 2021.
