In a recent development Nithilavalavan Baskar has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage. Prior to his new assignment he served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Grand Hyatt Goa. He joined the Hyatt family in 2017.
Baskar has a in-depth knowledge with strong F&B understanding and fresh insights. He will be responsible for the entire Food & Beverage operations of Park Hyatt Chennai.Besides, he will be delivering a unique and sophisticated approach to food and wine.
Baskar is a native of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu he holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. He began his career in 2008 with The Oberoi Amarvilas and then went on to work with well established brands to enhance his knowledge. His work experience includes working at Madinat Jumeirah, ITC Hotels, Alila Hotels and The Leela.
