The city police on Friday busted a sex racket that was being operated in the city and arrested two people.
The accused – a woman and a man – were arrested from the Ghatkopar area.
The action was taken by the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Unit VII, after a chawl was raided.
During the raid, they also rescued a minor girl and two women who were allegedly forced into the sex racket.
Police said that the two accused, a woman from Diva in Thane and a man from Bhandup, have been charged under IPC, POCSO and PITA provisions.
