Ibis Mumbai Vikhroli announces the appointment of its leadership team

A brand new Ibis in Mumbai, the largest in Maharashtra to open soon

Mumbai is slated to get a brand new smart economy brand from the Accor group, namely Ibis Mumbai Vikhroli. Recently, The Ibis Vikroli has announced the appointment of its leadership team who would head key departments. The key Head of the Departments (HOD) comprising of industry experts that includes Jayendra Anasooru (Executive Chef), Ishita Ganguly (Director of Sales), Gaurav Pant (Executive Housekeeper), Deepak Bajpai (Security Manager), Pooja Narkar (Talent and Culture Manager), Khushbu Sneha (Guest Service Manager), M Jaganathan (Chief Engineer), Pavithra Rodrigues (financial controller), Priyanka Pandey (Learning & Development Manager) and Suresh Gone (IT manager).

These team leaders are bringing on years of hospitality experience across best industry practices. With an aim to provide the best customer experience, food & beverage, and drive sales for Ibis Mumbai Vikhroli, these appointments will help Ibis establish a stronger impetus for the brand’s 20th ibis property in India. Anant Leekha, the general manager of Ibis Navi Mumbai is heading as Cluster General Manager of soon to open Ibis Mumbai Vikhroli.

Ibis Mumbai Vikhroli is 20th project in India, features 249 guest rooms and four meeting rooms, along with a Spice It restaurant. The soon-to-be-launched hotel is second in size only to the massive Delhi Aerocity hotel, amongst the hotels within the Ibis-Interglobe JV.

The Ibis Mumbai Vikhroli is situated on Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, which is known as a corporate hub that can bring good revenue for the hotels. The lead corporate in the area includes the likes of Godrej, Amazon, and Cipla are all near the hotel.

It may be noted that Vikhroli has no other branded hotel currently. The visitors to these corporate hubs need to travel to Powai to a higher category hotel. The Chedi hotel which was supposed to be operational a few years ago has not yet seen the light of the day. The Ibis property will cater not only to the Vikhroli market but also to businesses from Powai for their segment.
