Water supply in many parts of Mumbai like Worli, Napean Sea road, Bhulabhai Desai Marg,Dadar, Mahim, Prabhadevi has been affected owing to a sudden leakage in the Vaitarna supply line at Powai.
Officials said supply will be hit from November 12-13 for a period of 24 hours (from 11am-11am).
Repair works have been taken up immediately but the civic body said that direct water supply from Malabar Hill, Worli and Pali reservoirs and from Mahim will take a hit till tomorrow. “Please note that due to leak repair work, there is a possibility of low pressure and insufficient water supply in the above areas even on November 13,” said BMC.
