Amit Raman, a dedicated hotelier has joined Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia as Executive Assistant Manager recently. Amit possesses extensive hotel experience with over 17 years in the hospitality industry, most notably in operations and client servicing. Prior to joining Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia, Amit was Director F&B at Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport (IHG). In his new role at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia, he is heading the overall operations of the hotel. He is a strong leader possessing outstanding work ethic and integrity, always dedicated to meeting budget and meticulously documenting financials. Manages by leading and showing staff the rewards of pushing past their own expectations to provide the best work possible.
Amit is a science graduate and completed his hospitality degree from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Goa. He is Resourceful at developing procedures, service standards, and operational policies with a proven ability to reduce the running cost of the unit by planning & implementing effective control measures.
Award & Accolades: Amit Raman is a multitasking person, while working at Holiday Inn Mumbai; he was awarded as Exceptional Leader of the Year in the year 2020 and Leader of the Year for 2019. He was also awarded F&B Manager of the Year for West India Zone through India International Hospitality Expo, 2019. He was a finalist in the Hotelier India Awards 2018 as Best F&B Manager of the year (Upscale to Mid-Market segment). He has a proven record of the highest score (97%) in the LRA audit for two years leading the team as Brand Champion of the hotel (Holiday Inn Mumbai, International Airport).
Amit has also contributed as Area F&B for the West India region for two years in helping F&B Manager and Executive chef of six different properties of IHG that includes Crown Plaza Pune, Holiday inn Pune, Crown Plaza Jaipur, Holiday Inn Jaipur, Holiday Inn Aerocity, and Holiday Inn Mumbai.
