fire broke out in a building in Mumbai’s Kandivali West on Tuesday. Some people are trapped on the terrace of the building.
At least 45 people were stuck on the terrace of the building, of which 40 have been rescued by the fire brigade.
Sources said that fire in the meter box of the building led to the spread of fire. Soon, smoke spread out in the building.
Five people were hospitalised after they complained of suffocation. Three of them have been sent to BDBA Municipal General Hospital while the other two are sent to Bhaskar Hospital. All the patients are stable.
