CG invite Governor to visit Qatar during the World Cup
The newly appointed Consul General of Qatar in Mumbai His Excellency Ahmad Saad M H Al – Sulaiti called on Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
The Consul General apprised the Governor that Qatar is all set to host the much-awaited FIFA World Cup football in 2022. He invited the Governor to visit Qatar during the World Cup. The CG also apprised the Governor that people of Indian origin are making a handsome contribution to various walks of life in Qatar.

The Governor in his gratitude thanked Qatar for making available Liquid Medical Oxygen to Maharashtra during the COVID – 19 pandemic. This helped in saving many precious lives. It may be noted that the Qatar government sent liquid oxygen during the peak of the pandemic. The Governor appealed to Qatar to invest in various sectors in India and become partners in development.
