Aniruddh Kumar as Vice President - Development, India & South Asia.

In a recent development, Accor has appointed Aniruddh Kumar as Vice President – Development, India & South Asia. In his new role, he will spearhead Accor’s expansion strategy in the region in order to consolidate its current brand footprint, as well as focussing on expanding current and new brands. In his most recent assignment, he was the Vice President, Asset Management, the Asia Pacific for Marriott International, and responsible for maintaining the value of the contract for operating hotels and also maintaining the quality and quantity of the pipeline.

With over two and half decades of diverse corporate experience across the industries in Investment, Merger & Acquisition, Joint Ventures, Strategy & Business Planning, Commercial and Contractual Dispute Resolution, Development, Corporate Finance, Accounts, and Taxation, Kumar has been associated with Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Aman resorts, Leela Duet India Hotels, and DLF Hotels.

Aniruddh is a strong leader, recognized across the industry for his outstanding achievements, known for his strong knowledge and experience, and an enterprising finance professional with in-depth knowledge of every aspect of finance. He is methodical in his approach and has the unique quality of inspiring people around him. He finished his secondary education at Rajasthan Secondary Education Board and joined a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Rajasthan University College Jaipur, Rajasthan. Being a brilliant student in numerical aptitude, he joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and completed his Chartered Accountant (CA) course with flying colours.
