The Hummus festival is being organized at Sette Mara, the vibrant Middle Eastern Lounge Bar & Kitchen at The St Regis Mumbai. The rich culture of Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Persia, and Georgia are showcased at Sette Mara. The festival is currently on and will continue till May 30th, 2022.
Chef Reuben of Sette Mara has curated classic hummus and carrying on the tradition of providing the finest of the Levant region’s flavors, textures, and tastes, with its rich nuances of fragrant spices and nutritious components. Guests can indulge in different varieties of this quintessential Middle Eastern dish at the Hummus Festival.
The classic and globally popular dishes highlight an array of unique Hummus variations which include a vegetarian and non-vegetarian array of unique Hummus variations. The variation of vegetarian hummus includes Hummus Bin Laban (Garlic Yogurt, Pita Crisps, Sumac, Parsley, Herb Oil), Hummus with Zhoug, Heirloom Cherry Tomato, Truffle Oil, and Hummus, served warm with Roasted Cumin, Harissa, Wild Mushrooms. The non-vegetarian options are, Sudanese Hummus (Scrambled Eggs, Matbucha, Kalamata Olive Dust), Hummus Bil Lahm (Pulled Lamb, Sumac, EVOO), and Hummus, served warm with Roasted Cumin, Urfa Biber Spiced Minced Chicken, Pine Nuts, Pomegranate.
