Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday along with Deputy CM Manish Sisodia inspected road beautification work at Rani Bagh near Pitampura. The government has set a target to beautify 500 km of roads under PWD

Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘’We are trying to beautify roads in Delhi. Our target is to beautify 500 km of roads under PWD, for which we are planning to start our pilot project for a shorter range.’’

He further added, ‘’I expect pilot project to be completed by September-October. Our aim is to make Delhi’s roads beautiful.’’

On the other hand, Manish Sisodia on Monday approved a project worth Rs 6.1 crore for the development of roads spanning 7.47 km in Rohini, officials said.

He took the decision after reviewing an assessment report of city roads. PWD began working on a “war-footing” to improve the inter-connectivity of roads across Rohini and reduce traffic congestion on internal roads, according to an official statement.
