What ahead of Agnipath?

PM Modi announced to recruit 10 lakh people in Central govt in the next 18 months. The govt also announced a radical recruitment plan for armed forces. Will these solve India’s unemployment problem?
Battered by demonetisation, pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, the Indian economy has started showing some signs of revival now. In May, the number of employed people jumped by one million. It resulted in a drop in unemployment rates from 7.83% in April to 7.12% in May. Economists, however, are sceptical. Some say that it is difficult to get the real picture of unemployment from the methodology used by the Centre for Monitoring India Economy or CMIE.
Modi govt announces Agnipath scheme for armed forces. Here’s what 4-year service is all about
Enrolment under scheme will be all-India, all-class & will form a distinct rank in armed forces, besides having distinctive insignia. Aim is to keep 3 services younger & reduce pension burden.
An opportunity to youth who wish to serve country`s armed forces for a short-term period. Making unprecedented changes in armed forces` recruitement process, the government will now hire officials for a short time service period of four years.
Agniveers` will be offered a salary package of Rs 4.76 lakh in the first year which goes up to Rs 6.92 lakh in the fourth and final year. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that “The `Agniveers` will be given a good pay package and an exit retirement package after four years of service.”
What do you all think about the Agnipath scheme? Will it be good for the future of the youth and India? Where will the youth go at the end of their 4 year tenure? Should there be something after that for them to sustain their future later ahead?
Also on the other hand candidates preparing for jobs in the Indian
army and other defence forces have started protests in
different parts of the country. The aspirants who were
waiting for the defence recruitment process to start for
two years now are upset with major changes
introduced in the recruitment scheme introduced under
the Agnipath scheme
