Just watched the trailer of Posti movie. I’m mind blown by the filmmaking. It’s taking punjabi cinema to another level. Compliments from all over the world and positive film reviews have been pouring in for Posti since it has released. The kind of stories Gippy Grewal’s production Humble Motion Pictures is doing is so heartwarming and gut wrenching be it Maa, Ardaas , Ardaas Karaan and now Posti. The kind of stories they are choosing shows what he stands for as a filmmaker. No one has ever before stood up for such stories in the history of Punjabi cinema and served us the truth like this! Each story is distinct and shows what the real Punjab is! Please take time out to watch all these films and Posti if you haven’t. I’ll be myself watching Posti now. Also while watching the trailer of Posti two performers caught my eye: Rana Ranbir and Prince Kanwaljit Singh. They have brilliantly performed their parts. Their love for their craft and telling true stories is being seen.

Rana Ranbir has been working in the Punjabi cinema since a long time now as a writer, director, actor and comedian. He has given us some memorable characters. He has done films like Snowman, Ardaas, Ardaas Karaan, Punjab 1984, Carry on Jatta and so many others. He has come a long way as an artist. Can’t wait to see his magic in Posti now.

On the other hand we have Prince Kanwaljit Singh is finally getting recognition for his work. He was brilliant in Warning and now it looks like he’s brilliant in Posti too. All his hard work and dedication is being seen in his characters in Warning and Posti.

Posti shows how we are loosing the youth of Punjab to drugs and what the families of such youth go through. It looks like an amazing film brilliantly directed and written by Rana Ranbir and an ensemble cast.
