Mumbai’s lone hotel which is overlooking Mumbai’s famous Powai Lake, The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake & Lakeside Chalet, Mumbai – Marriott Executive Apartments has added one newer member. In a recent development, Nikhil Kotha has joined as Director of Catering Sales. Prior to joining The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake Nikhil worked at several renowned organizations, including Park Hyatt, ITC Kakatiya, Marriott Hotels, and Lodha Group.
In his new role, Nikhil will be responsible for overseeing catering sales operations and ensuring that the hotel’s budgets are met in all segments. He will lead the team in planning & direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. Nikhil will also prepare budgets and targets for the hotel on a monthly basis for the team based on past and future trends.
Nikhil brings over 10 years of experience in client relationship management, key account management, contract negotiation, and more to his new role. He has demonstrated exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with upper management and key corporate decision-makers. As a recognized creative and practical problem solver, he has managed multiple tasks in fast-paced and high-volume settings.
