Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated the 16th National Convention on the theme ‘Lighten to Enlighten’ organised by the Terapanth Professional Forum, a body of Jain Terapanth professionals in Thane on 26th August, 2023.

The Spiritual head of the Terapanth tradition Acharya Mahashraman, Sadhvi Pramukha Shri Vishrut Vibha, Muni Mahavir Kumar, Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis were present in the coveted event. National President of the Terapanth Professional Forum Pankaj Ostwal, Head of the Acharya Mahashraman Pravas Samiti Madan Tated, former Mayor of Raipur Gajraj Pagaria and others were also present.

Maharashtra Governor felicitating Jain scholar   

Complimenting the Terapanth Professional Forum for its services to society, the Governor called upon the professionals to give their maximum contribution to the nation to realize the goal of a developed India by 2047. The Governor also appealed to them to set ambitious goals for social work.

In his benediction, Acharya Mahashraman called for shunning the vices and nurturing virtues to realize the goal of Godliness. He said the Anuvrat teachings of Acharya Tulsi and the Preksha Dhyan techniques of Acharya Mahapragya can help society to promote harmony and morality.
