Onam, Kerala’s vibrant harvest festival, stands out as a celebration unique to the state and embraced by people of all castes, creeds, and religions. This Sunday, Mumbai’s acclaimed South Indian restaurant, South Of Vindhyas, is delighted to present a sumptuous Onam Sadhya brunch.
This year, Executive Chef Dhairyashi and his team have crafted a delightful Onam Sadhya menu to be celebrated at South Of Vindhya. To enhance the festive atmosphere, the service staff will be dressed in traditional attire, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated to immerse you in the spirit of the occasion.
The food festival features a traditional Onam presentation. In keeping with Onam customs, a diverse array of curries, pickles are being served. Guests can look forward to a lavish spread of special dishes, each meticulously served to celebrate the occasion such as Avial, Thoran, Olan, Kalan, Rasam, Inji Puli, steamed rice forms the base of the meal sarious pickles such as mango or lemon to add a zesty kick, Pachadi- A yogurt-based side dish with vegetables or fruits, offering a cooling contrast to the spicy dishes, Pappadam and Payasam.
