Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts has appointed AVIAREPS India to lead its Public Relations and brand positioning efforts in India. By tapping into AVIAREPS’s extensive network and strong media relationships, the brand aims to enhance its communication strategy and solidify its position among Indian travellers, capitalizing on the country’s rapidly growing outbound travel segment.
With a portfolio of 17 properties, including Sri Lanka’s first integrated resort, Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams, the brand is setting new standards for luxury and immersive hospitality across the region. Opened last year, Cinnamon Life is Sri Lanka’s largest private investment, valued at USD 1.3 billion. It features 687 rooms, 12 F&B outlets, a 16,000 sqm MICE venue, and South Asia’s largest gaming space (17,500 sqm) in partnership with Melco, a global casino operator. An upcoming mall is also set to open in Q3 this year.

With Sri Lanka’s tourism revenue projected to reach USD 3.17 billion in 2025, Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts is expanding beyond Colombo. The brand has recently launched a new property, Kandy Myst by Cinnamon, and has plans to grow its presence in key international markets such as the Maldives, the UK, the Middle East, and China.
