Food enthusiasts in Thane seeking authentic Indian cuisine in a luxurious setting have reason to celebrate. Banaraas Fine Dine was officially launched at Planet Hollywood in Hiranandani Estate, Thane, on September 10, 2025. The restaurant offers a contemporary Indian dining experience inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Varanasi, blending flavors from Awadh, Purvanchal, Rajasthan, and Kashmir into a modern and immersive gastronomic journey.
Helmed by Executive Chef Kamlesh Patil, Banaraas showcases signature dishes such as Aloo Bhukhara Kofta, Awadhi Beter Biryani, and Bhatti Ka Kalmi, highlighting India’s diverse culinary heritage. Guests can also enjoy inventive cocktails including Kala Khatta, Flaming Margarita, Indriya Bloom, Tikka Masala Sour, Kashi Sunset, and Masala Mojito. For a twist on dessert and drinks, the menu features Rasmalai and the indulgent Gulabi Affogato, providing a unique combination of flavors that perfectly complement the dining experience.

The restaurant’s interiors draw inspiration from Nawabi architecture, combining luxurious design elements with contemporary aesthetics to create a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance. During the launch, a live singer entertained guests, making the evening vibrant and memorable.
Banaraas caters to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences and is open daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The estimated cost for two is around ₹4,000, with special offers and reservations available through platforms like EazyDiner. The venue is ideal for family gatherings, intimate celebrations, or a refined evening out.
