Puneet Arora, a chef from the heart, has joined SATS Food Solutions (India) as Chief Executive Officer. With 25 years of global experience in hospitality and culinary industries, including 15 years in senior managerial and director-level roles, Puneet is recognized for his expertise in designing and operationalizing large-scale food production facilities across airlines, retail, and institutional clients.
A product of Mumbai’s most prestigious Campion School and an alumnus of Sophia Polytechnic, Puneet combines world-class education with hands-on culinary expertise. A second-generation chef, he carries forward the legacy of his father, Chef Satish Arora, who dedicated 50 years of his career to the Taj Group of Hotels, setting a benchmark for loyalty, expertise, and culinary excellence.
Puneet began his career in India as a trainee chef at the flagship and iconic Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai, and later worked at Taj Samudra, Sri Lanka. He was part of the opening team of Jumeirah Beach Hotels, Dubai. Internationally, he has held senior leadership roles including Executive Chef at Emirates Flight Catering, Dubai, managing 200,000 meals daily; Executive Chef Product Development & Operations Head at Noon Products, London, overseeing chilled meal production of 250,000 meals per day; Managing Director at DSI Foods, London, designing the first frozen airline meal facility at Heathrow; and Vice President at SATS Food Solutions, Thailand, expanding a brownfield facility producing over 15 million frozen airline meals annually.
Puneet Arora, who has catered to global dignitaries, Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities, and leading airlines and retail brands worldwide, said he is thrilled to join SATS Food Solutions (India) and looks forward to leveraging his expertise to enhance innovation, quality, and operational excellence in large-scale food solutions.
