The St. Regis Mumbai continues its celebrated SALUD global bar takeover series with a landmark edition at Koishii, bringing one of the most influential names in contemporary cocktail culture to the city. On June 13, 2026, internationally acclaimed bartender, entrepreneur, and tastemaker Nico de Soto will present a one-night-only showcase, introducing his globally celebrated cocktail philosophy to Mumbai.
Few figures in today’s bar world carry a footprint as extensive as Nico de Soto. Having travelled to more than 111 countries and worked in over 56, he has spent two decades exploring global flavours, techniques, and ingredients, translating them into inventive cocktails that reflect a borderless approach to mixology. His creations draw inspiration from street food cultures across Southeast Asia, Latin American neighbourhood bars, and the classic cocktail traditions of Paris, London, and New York.

Over the years, de Soto has built acclaimed bar programmes including Mace in New York, Danico in Paris, and Wacky Wombat in London. His venues have consistently featured on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, while he has been recognised among Drinks International’s Most Influential Figures in the Bar World for seven consecutive years. In 2024, he expanded his creative portfolio with the launch of Kota Pandan Liqueur, inspired by the sweet, grassy, and vanilla-like character of Southeast Asian pandan leaf.
For one evening only, guests at Koishii, Penthouse at The St. Regis Mumbai, will experience a specially curated cocktail menu reflecting de Soto’s global journey and creative evolution. Each cocktail will narrate stories of travel, technique, and discovery, offering a glimpse into the philosophy that has redefined modern cocktail culture.
