World Trade Center Goa and Vibrant Goa Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen international business engagement and create new opportunities for trade, investment and global market access for Goa-based enterprises.

The MoU was signed at Mahalaxmi, Panaji, in the presence of Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairman, MVIRDC World Trade Center and President, All India Association of Industries, and Rajkumar Kamat, Chairman, Vibrant Goa Foundation, signed the agreement.

The partnership will strengthen links between Goa’s business community and international markets through business delegations, trade and investment promotion programmes, networking forums, knowledge-sharing initiatives and cross-border collaborations.

A major focus will be supporting Goa-based enterprises, particularly micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in exploring new markets and connecting with potential buyers, investors and business partners overseas.

The presence of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant at the signing highlighted the importance of institutional partnerships in advancing Goa’s economic development and expanding its participation in global trade and investment.

Under the MoU, the two organisations will work towards creating a sustained platform for trade promotion, investment facilitation, international networking and market access. The partnership is also expected to encourage greater participation of Goa-based businesses in international trade and investment opportunities.

The initiative will provide enterprises with greater exposure to international markets while facilitating business-to-business connections and knowledge exchange. It is expected to help local companies identify new commercial opportunities and build relationships with international stakeholders.

The collaboration marks a step towards strengthening Goa’s business ecosystem and creating wider avenues for enterprises to connect with global markets, investors and trade partners.
