The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari visited the Durga Puja at seven bunglow’s Versova area. The event was organised by the Mumbai Bengali Cultural Association Andheri at Lokhandwala.
Playback singer Kumar Shanu welcomed the Governor. The Governor performed the Puja – Aarti and interacted with devotees. Versova MLA Dr. Bharati Lavekar was also present.

Dr. Bharati Lavekar, MLA from Versova constituency said “We are very happy that the honourable Governor of Maharashtra visited the Durga Puja event in my constituency. It is a proud moment for residents of the area, as despite a hectic schedule, the Governor performed puja. We also look forward to the Governor visiting Puja Pandal every year and we are ready to welcome him”.
