Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s leading hospitality firm, has announced its latest venture in Gujarat with the signing of a new hotel in Nadiad. The property will be part of IHCL’s SeleQtions brand, marking a significant expansion of the company’s presence in the state.

The 108-key IHCL SeleQtions Nadiad-Ahmedabad, strategically located on the Golden Quadrilateral Road along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway, is set to become a key destination for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel will boast modern amenities including an all-day dining restaurant, a fully-equipped gym, a swimming pool, and a spa. Additionally, it will feature over 10,000 square feet of banqueting space, complete with meeting rooms, pre-function areas, and open lawns ideal for weddings and large-scale events.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, emphasized the strategic importance of this new signing. “Nadiad has emerged as an industrial center, and its proximity to key cities in Gujarat makes it an attractive destination for quality hospitality services,” she stated. The new hotel is expected to cater to the growing demand in the region, driven by both industrial activities and tourism.

The project is a collaboration between IHCL and Ankur Desai, a prominent businessman from Nadiad with diverse interests across automotive, fashion retail, real estate, and hospitality sectors. Desai expressed enthusiasm about introducing the SeleQtions brand to Nadiad, positioning the hotel as a perfect destination for travelers from nearby cities such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Gandhinagar.

With this addition, IHCL will have a total of 25 hotels in Gujarat, including six under development. This expansion underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in key markets across India.

It may be noted that Nadiad, known for its industrial growth and ancient temples, is poised to benefit from this development, potentially attracting more visitors and bolstering its hospitality sector. The new IHCL SeleQtions hotel is expected to play a significant role in meeting the evolving needs of both business and leisure travellers in this rapidly growing region of Gujarat.
