Vikas Parimoo, a passionate and skilled Taj enthusiast, has recently taken on the role of General Manager at Taj Santacruz. With nearly 24 years of diverse experience within the Taj Hotels, he brings a fresh outlook and a deep commitment to excellence. Prior to this position, Vikas served as General Manager at Taj Vivanta Navi Mumbai.
In his new role, Vikas will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring that the high standards associated with Taj are upheld while also introducing innovative initiatives to enhance the guest experience even further.
Vikas has held significant roles within India’s oldest and largest Taj group of hotels, showcasing outstanding leadership and a strong commitment to enhancing guest experiences. His dedication to service and operational excellence perfectly aligns with the values of Taj Santacruz as he upholds the legacy of Tajness. A brilliant statistician, he meticulously tracks revenue targets and ensures that every guest experiences the highest level of service and hospitality without compromise.
Vikas began his career at Taj Hotels and has experienced significant professional growth over the years. He has held several key positions, including Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Manager and Executive Assistant Manager, leading to his current role as General Manager, which he has held for nearly 11 years.
A brilliant student from Jammu and Kashmir, Vikas completed his Higher Secondary Education in Jammu before pursuing Hotel Management at IHM Bhopal. Throughout his career, he has worked at several of Taj’s prestigious properties, including Taj Lands’ End, Taj Bengal, Taj Krishna, Taj Ambassador New Delhi, and Taj Vivanta Navi Mumbai.
Vikas is the first in his family to pursue a career in the hospitality industry, and he has become a source of inspiration for family and friends looking to follow his path. He takes immense pride in this accomplishment and passionately advises them on the challenges of the field. He often emphasizes that the hotel industry demands resilience and hard work, reminding them that success requires dedication with his motto: “perform or perish.”
