The FHRAI Institute of Hospitality Management (FHRAI-IHM), Greater Noida, celebrated its fourth Annual Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant cultural expressions recently. The event brought together students, faculty, parents, hospitality professionals, and distinguished guests for a day filled with festivities, pride, and accomplishments.
The theme of this year’s celebration, “Visualising the Cultural Diversity of India,” was showcased beautifully through an array of performances including regional dances, skits, and musical presentations. Students demonstrated their professional and creative skills not only on stage but also through the preparation and service of regional cuisine, presented as part of a well-curated menu for all attendees.
The Annual Day also marked the conclusion of the Institute’s inter-house cultural and sports competitions for the academic year. Winners and runners-up from the four houses were awarded certificates and trophies for their outstanding performances in various events.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the “Best Student of the Year” awards, which went to Tanishq Thapa and Aditya Raju Chougale, both final-year students of the B.Sc. Hospitality programme.
Arun Kumar Singh, Director of FHRAI-IHM, delivered the Annual Report for the academic year 2024-25. He proudly announced that a significant number of students from the previous batch had secured placements in leading hotels, restaurants, and hospitality organizations. He also noted that, for the current academic year, over 22 reputed hotel groups and allied organizations have visited the campus for recruitment, with many students receiving multiple job offers.
The event served as a testament to the Institute’s commitment to academic excellence, cultural richness, and professional growth, leaving a lasting impression on all those in attendance.
