Radisson Mumbai Goregaon, known for introducing diverse culinary experiences to the city, is once again bringing the rustic charm and rich food heritage of Himachal Pradesh to Mumbai. At its award-winning restaurant, Musaafir, the hotel has launched a special Himachali food festival titled ‘Dhaam Rasoi’, showcasing the vibrant flavours of the Himalayan region. Curated by Celebrity Chef Sherry, renowned for her expertise in Himachali delicacies, the festival is currently underway and will continue till 14th December.
Showcasing hearty Himachali thalis and traditional mountain delicacies, the festival aims to transport diners to the serene landscapes and distinct culinary culture of Himachal Pradesh. From wholesome lentils and aromatic rice preparations to age-old recipes rooted in local traditions, each dish has been crafted to reflect the warmth and authenticity of the region.
Chef Sherry, seen presenting an elaborate Himachali platter, has infused the menu with recipes inspired by local techniques, seasonal produce and the traditional ‘Dhaam’ feast—an integral part of Himachal’s cultural identity. The décor and visual elements further elevate the experience, featuring Himalayan motifs, prayer flags and mountain-inspired artwork, creating an immersive dining ambience.
Santosh Singh, General Manager of Radisson Mumbai Goregaon, said, “Through this festival, we aim to highlight the lesser-known yet deeply comforting food traditions of Himachal, thoughtfully crafted by Chef Sherry.”
