JW Marriott Goa has announced the appointment of Yojan Gandha Das as Director of Operations, bringing over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry.
Yojan began her career in guest relations, where her intuitive, guest-centric approach and natural leadership quickly distinguished her. Her commitment to service excellence paved the way for key operational roles at leading hospitality chains, including Accor, Taj Hotels, and Marriott International. Known for streamlining processes, elevating service standards, and delivering consistent results, Yojan has built a reputation for operational excellence.
In recognition of her contributions, she earned top honors in Marriott International’s APEC region in 2024, securing awards for Highest Guest Voice, Highest Maintenance, Highest Cleanliness, and achieving the Highest Marriott Bonvoy Occupancy in the second quarter of 2024.
At JW Marriott Goa, Yojan will oversee the hotel’s core operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Spa, ensuring the continued delivery of the brand’s hallmark service standards. Her extensive experience within Marriott International strengthens her alignment with the brand’s operational philosophy and values.
In her new role, Yojan will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue performance, improving guest satisfaction scores, driving Brand Standard Audit performance, and optimizing operational efficiency and profitability. She will also mentor and empower the operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Outside of her professional achievements, Yojan is a former Mrs. India Worldwide 2018 finalist, exemplifying a combination of talent and elegance. A passionate traveller, she shares her love for exploration with her husband, planning journeys to discover new destinations and experiences around the globe.
